November 1st -
Last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot. Check the status of your mail-in or absentee ballot here.
November 8th -
Last day for Chester County Voter Services to receive mail-in and civilian absentee ballots (must be received by 8pm).
November 8th -
Election Day. Polls open from 7AM-8PM. Find your polling place here.
November 15th -
Last day for Chester County Voter Services to receive military and overseas ballots postmarked before November 8th.

What is early, in-person voting?

Go to Chester County Voter Services or one of the other county satellite office locations and request to vote early. You will be given a mail-in ballot that you may fill out privately. After filling out the ballot and properly sealing it in the security envelope, you will hand it back to the officials.

You may also bring your mail-in ballot to Voter Services or a satellite office to turn in.

How do I vote by mail?
1.) Apply for a mail-in ballot online, by mail, or in person.
2.) Once you are approved, Chester County Voter Services will mail you your mail-in ballot.
3.) Turn in your ballot by mail, at a drop box location, or by handing it in at Voter Services or a satellite location. It must be received by 8pm on November 8th.

Mail-in and absentee ballot applications for the November 8th general election must be received by Chester County Voter Services by 5 p.m. on November 1st.

Who may apply for an absentee ballot application?

People whose work or vacation take them away from the municipality where they live

Those with a physical disability or illness that prevents them from going to the polling place

People who may have a conflict due to the celebration of a religious holiday

Inmates who haven’t been convicted of a felony
